Job Announcement: The Columbia River Estuary Study Taskforce (CREST) is seeking an experienced natural resource professional for the position of Habitat Restoration Specialist / Project Manager. This position will be based in either the Astoria or Portland, OR CREST offices. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing projects that recover tidal juvenile salmon habitats in the Lower Columbia River estuary. RFP Request
The Columbia River Estuary Study Taskforce (CREST) is announcing the opportunity to submit proposals for the Fort Columbia Tidal Reconnection Project Construction Phase. The budget is $800,000. Contractors must be pre-qualified through Washington State Department of Transportation and furnish bid and construction surety bonds. Click on the following links for bid documents and specifications. Additionally available are the project design and geotechnical report. Printed copies may be obtained as directed in the bid document.

In order to receive project addendums and communications, you must provide the project manager with your name, address, phone number, and email address. Communications will be provided by email unless specifically requested by mail. Addenda are anticipated for this solicitation. A pre-bid meeting will be available on August 25, 2010, starting at 10 am from Fort Columbia project (approximately MP 3.2 US 101). Please RSVP 24 hours in advance.
