BPA is a federal agency that administers hydroelectric power generated from dams on the Columbia River and its tributaries. BPA supplies wholesale energy to the Pacific Northwest region. BPA's mandate is to also prioritize habitat monitoring and restoration projects throughout the Columbia River.
BPA is a primary funder for restoration projects in the Columbia River. BPA contracts CREST to oversee large scale projects.
